These kids and clip are from one of my favorite Drum Corps, Carolina Crown, based in Fort Mill, South Carolina. “Developing lifelong excellence in young people through a superior and challenging performing arts education experience.”, their mission. These kids are 21 years old and younger! What an amazing life experience these kids go through—learned discipline, respect, hard work, grit, striving for excellence, lots of sunburns, living for laundry day, and adventure!
Being involved in the activity as a High School student was instrumental in forging my path at the Capital University, Conservatory of Music, and subsequent Bachelor of Music Degree. Tradition. Respect.
